Careers

I bought my first house before I was in mortgages. I will spare you the details but suffice it to say it was a very frustrating experience! When I changed careers I promised to remain humble to what buyers are going through and that most people don't come with a real estate/finance background.

Before mortgages I taught high school mathematics - everything from number sense to formal AP Calculus. I was the head of the department for a while, got a masters in secondary education, and fought passionately for better, reformed approaches to learning and assessment. 

Family

I have a wife and three wonderful daughters. The youngest are twins and it has been a wild ride raising three little ones. I am getting better and better each day learning new hairstyles! We have a chihuahua too.

Hobbies 

I love board games! I like really long and intense board games with lots of rules that take hours and hours to complete. I have also loved chess my whole life and prefer to play on an actual board instead of online. 

I'm currently teaching myself about electronics and circuits - it's been a curiosity all my life and I'm finally exploring it. 

And all things Star Wars! I love all 11 movies, The Madalorian, all the animated series, and I've read 4 novels.
